Pete Sciarrino, founder of the European Natural Stone Company, is not only a master stone craftsman, but an inventor as well. He developed his newest product, Bordura - Italian for border - after observing the difficulty customers experienced in obtaining a beautiful edge detail with stone tiles. Stone tiles are less expensive than traditional stone slab countertops, but that advantage disappears because of limitations in the types of edges available. Now, for the first time ever, stone tiles can be finished with the distinctive bullnose edge of traditional slab granite - at a savings of 20% over previous options. Thanks to Bordura, stone tile customers can enjoy the lower cost and achieve an upscale, finished look on their counters. |
